Welcome to our veterinary practice.
We are a seven vet mixed practice, serving the greater Warkworth and Wellsford regions, from Puhoi in the south to Maungaturoto in the north and from east to west coast in between. We operate from two premises. Our main veterinary clinic / surgery is located at 18 Neville Street, Warkworth. We also have a vet clinic at 4 School Road, Wellsford.
We have a team of great vets, with a combined experience of over 55 years, and an enviable combined knowledge pool derived from working both internationally and in many different types of vet practices around New Zealand. We are confident and experienced enough to tackle almost any challenge which may be presented to us regardless of species.
We provide a 24 hour a day, 7 day a week emergency vet service. We don’t rely on another practice to share the burden of the after-hours work. The vet you see should you be unlucky enough to encounter an emergency after normal hours will be one of our vets who you will probably have met.
Our vets are all locals, and proud members of the community. You’ll find us at work during the week with forceps and scalpel in hand, or sleeves rolled up and pulling out a calf. In the weekends we may well be beside you on the sidelines cheering on the local team, or brandishing a prize snapper at the boat ramp.
